A home inspection is a visual examination of a residential property to identify defects in specific systems and components.

 It is based on the observations made on the date of the inspection and does not predict future conditions. 

The inspection will only reveal material defects that have a significant impact on the value of the property or pose an unreasonable risk to people. 

The report will identify these defects and may include additional comments and recommendations.

The intended purpose for the property inspection is to formulate a complete understanding of the systems and components and other items the client would like clarification on such as a mould or insect infestation.
